KakhetiKoncho & Company is a premium Georgian winery based in Kvareli, operating as a subsidiary of Corporation Kindzmarauli. With vineyards situated along the mineral-rich black slate soils of the Duruji River bed, the winery specializes in crafting high-end wines and reviving rare, endangered indigenous Georgian grape varieties.
The winemaking lineage traces back to 1737, when Kakhaber Konchoshvili, the cellar-master (Inokhi) to King Teimuraz II of Kakheti, founded the historic family cellar ("Koncho" translates to "cross" in Old Georgian).
