Story
The story of Amosa began around 2018–2019 in Kakheti, the cradle of Georgian winemaking. Founded by Tamar Mamisashvili, the brand was born out of a desire to pivot from a long family legacy. Tamar's father was a traditional, lifelong winemaker crafting mass-market wines in the renowned Napareuli micro-zone. Breaking away from the convention that only sons carry on the family trade, Tamar used her unique vision to bridge her family's extensive viticultural expertise with modern enological practices. Amosa established its own vineyards in Napareuli, cultivating iconic Kakhetian grapes alongside rare regional varieties like Shavkapito, crafting a bold new chapter in modern Georgian wine culture.
