Story
The roots of the winery date back to 1969, when it was established as the largest winemaking facility in the region. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, the estate was acquired by winemaker Shalva Nadashvili. In 2017, his son Simon and grandson Daniil Nadashvili reignited the family legacy, transforming the historic estate. They abandoned obsolete Soviet-era production methods, upgraded the cellars with state-of-the-art equipment, and implemented strict quality control in the vineyards. Reborn under the brand name Avandi, the winery now crafts award-winning wines that successfully compete in prestigious international arenas.
