Kakheti
Britsa Winery, known on the market under the brand Wine Lento, is a new-generation Georgian craft winery from Kakheti. It thoughtfully merges Kakheti's rich winemaking heritage with refined, modern techniques.
Story
Located in the Gurjaani micro-zone, the winery was founded by head winemaker Otar Bibileishvili, who was named among the world's best young winemakers by IWSC. The name "Lento" originates from the musical term meaning slowly and peacefully, reflecting the philosophy of allowing wine to age naturally and unhurriedly. Britsa Winery produces both traditional Qvevri amber and red wines as well as European-style wines using local Kakhemian varieties (Saperavi, Kisi, Kakhuri Mtsvane). Their portfolio continuously achieves high international acclaim and awards.
