Danieli Winery is a premium Georgian family boutique winery located in the picturesque village of Argokhi, Akhmeta municipality, Kakheti. Nestled at the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains, the winery crafts exceptional wines with a strong focus on indigenous Georgian grape varieties, most notably the rare Kisi. Combining centuries-old winemaking traditions with modern European technology, Danieli Winery delivers elegant, terroir-driven expressions of Georgian wine.
Story
Founded by Olaf Malver (a Danish eco-entrepreneur) and Eka Chvritidze, the winery was born out of a shared passion to showcase the unique terroir of Kakheti's right bank of the Alazani River. The founders selected the historical micro-zone of Argokhi village to plant their vineyards, a region legendary for producing complex white wines. Danieli Winery became a key pioneer in reviving and popularizing the once-forgotten Kisi grape variety. Today, the winery's limited-production bottles are celebrated both locally and internationally, exporting to markets across Europe and the USA.
