Story
The inspiration behind the winery dates back to the legendary 12th-century Ikalto Academy, an ancient center of learning where winemaking was studied as a science and celebrated as an art. The founders rebuilt the cellar on their ancestors' historical land, reviving a family winemaking lineage that traces back to the 19th century. Today, Ikalto Winery stands as a modern guardian of this grand heritage, bringing the authentic character of Kakhetian terroir to the global stage.
