"Vino Petra" is a distinctive family winery located in Tsikhisdziri, Adjara, beautifully merging stunning Black Sea coast views with ancient Georgian winemaking traditions. Story
The history of the winery is tied to viticulturist and winemaker Tamaz Dumbadze, who decided to revive traditional winemaking culture in Tsikhisdziri, near the historic Petra Fortress. Carefully selected grape varieties (Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, Saperavi) from the best vineyards of Kakheti undergo traditional, natural fermentation in Qvevri at the Tsikhisdziri cellar. Today, "Vino Petra" not only produces high-quality natural wine but also offers guests eco-cottages and an unforgettable wine tourism experience overlooking the sea.
