"Ziari" is a premium Georgian Qvevri wine born in the heart of Kakheti, in a unique micro-zone of the Gurjaani municipality. Situated at an altitude of 630-820 meters above sea level, the winery's vineyards overlook the breathtaking Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains. "Ziari" blends centuries-old traditions, the distinct character of high-altitude terroir, and a passion for natural winemaking, creating exceptional, vibrant flavors in every single bottle.
Story
The story of the winery is deeply rooted in the village of Ziari, a place historically renowned for producing exceptional Saperavi and amber wines. The project's mission was to revive these forgotten, high-altitude vineyards and give them a new life. Guided by natural winemaking principles and minimal intervention, the grapes are hand-harvested, and the wine is aged in traditional Georgian Qvevri. "Ziari" is more than just wine; it represents a genuine connection with the authentic, untouched culture of Georgian winemaking.
